What can be expected
While staying visitors will be provided with meals in which the food will be grown, and prepared on the land with input from you, throughout the course of your stay. Duties may include...a hand in the kitchen (gathering sesonal fruits & vegetables, meal preparation), hygiene duties (cleaning toilet and shower facilities) all to give the wider perspective to you of the actuality of living in such an environment, of working in community without the reliance of supermarkets, servers and cleaners. In harmony with nature.
Visitors will be asked to take home all plastic waste.
Facilities for washing clothes by hand will be available. We ask that you use only environmentally friendly/vegetable based soaps and toiletries as everything you use goes back to the earth.
Please .... No Chemicals
Aniwaniwa aims to be as self-sufficient as possible, growing fruit and vegetables all year round, preserving and drying fruits and vegetables, pressing juices/oils and growing various staples, (e.g. corn potatoes etc.) and beekeeping.
Visitors will stay in accommodations that will be built by hand in accordance to the covenants of the land.
Water will be sustainably harvested from the spring and/or rain collection.
when the time comes we aim to invite teachers and groups for various workshops/learning
